Remember that people on the Internet may not be who they seem.
- Never give out personal information while online without your parent or guardian's permission; don't give strangers your name, home address, telephone number, or the name of the school you attend.
- Never send your picture or arrange a face-to-face meeting without your parent or guardian's permission.
- Never respond to messages that are obscene, make you feel uncomfortable, or are threatening.
- If you feel you're in danger, dial 911, tell your parents/guardians, a teacher, or a trusted adult.
