Assistant Branch Sales Manager (Lansing Area Branch)

We are currently seeking an Assistant Branch Sales Manager for one of our Lansing Area branches. This position is responsible for supervising staff and maintaining professional and high quality sales, service and value to members. Responsible for performing various branch operational functions. Generates and maintains appropriate records and reports. Coordinates staff work schedules and training. Responsible for branch opening/closing and security procedures, complies with all regulatory Bank Secrecy Act requirements including annual training and maintains confidentiality at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to provide courteous and professional service to members.
• Demonstrated effective customer relations skills (friendliness, tact and diplomacy).
• Ability to deal with numbers effectively; proficient math knowledge.
• Demonstrated knowledge of credit union products and services, sales, and providing value to the member.
• Ability to input and retrieve data from computer.
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to take direction well and to respond to delegated tasks in a prompt, efficient and quality conscience manner.

Training and Experience:

• Two year  Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience and/or college level course work in related field.
• One to three years' financial institution or management sales experience.
• One year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
